Tarmac as a road surfacing product has an extraordinary history with records dating back to the 8th century AD however as a patented product in 1901 tarmacadam has transformed surfaces globally.

With incredible advances in its chemical composition tarmac's lifespan has been extended dramatically. However with the changes in our climatic conditions and increased traffic use this surface is more susceptible to drying out, stones fretting, surface break up and a general deterioration of colour.

With many tarmacadam driveways or car parks suffering with moss of weed growth we can pretreat the site and then carry out a sympathetic pressure washing of the area maximising the capabilities of our machines to work effectively at lower pressures will look to guarantee the integrity of the surface and not cause any additional stone displacement if it has started to break up.
